A new creative workshop has been announced in Kernersville for this August, and creatives and aspiring artisans can register to learn new skills from experienced instructors.
Crafting With the Korners: Perfume-Making with Poesie, which is presented by Korner’s Folly, has opened online enrollment to interested individuals in the Kernersville community who want to learn how to create their own perfume from home. The workshop will use a hands-on learning style, and students will receive guidance from Poesie Perfume and Tea’s instructors.
Students will receive the knowledge and resources to craft a scent that is unique to them. It is an ideal setting for participants of all skill and experience levels, with organizers working to ensure a welcoming and warm space to learn and grow. Printing services can provide organizers of such events with instructional sheets featuring ingredients and step-by-step guidance to support the learning process.
This workshop’s focus will be on creating an amber scent while learning about why amber perfumes stand the test of time. All necessary tools and materials are included with the enrollment cost. Light refreshments will also be provided for a comfortable day of learning and fun.
Registered participants will meet at 401 South Main Street in Kernersville on Sunday, August 23. The doors open at 1:00 PM, and the workshop ends around 4:00 PM. Tickets are available online for $85 per student.
