Autumn is just around the corner, and Kernersville residents will continue a community tradition by participating in the upcoming Oktoberfest celebrations in town.
The 16th Annual Kernersville Oktoberfest has gone public with the official date, giving visitors and residents a heads-up to help them build a visit to the cultural festival into their plans. Individuals who attend can learn more about their heritage or discover more about a different culture and cuisine. The celebrations will be highlighted by the local beer options and food vendors.
The event will be open to guests 21 and over, and organizers are proud to announce that they are bringing local breweries, wineries, and chefs to one convenient spot in town to take in the fall atmosphere with friends. The visibility resulting from banner printing can help events like this reach passersby and residents, giving increased visibility to the community experience or festival.
Samples of different local beers will be available to try. Food options are sure to include German-inspired dishes and appetizers. Guests will also receive a Korner’s Folly-branded tasting glass to sip from and take home. A self-guided tour is also in the works to explore Kernersville’s history.
Oktoberfest will be held at 401 South Main Street in Kernersville on Saturday, October 3rd. The gates open at 3:00pm. General admission costs $40 per attendee and tickets are available online.
