Valentine’s Day is drawing near, and bakers and crafting lovers will no doubt take interest in a cookie decorating event in Kernersville.
The Mini & Me Valentine’s Cookie Decorating session is scheduled to begin in a few days, and parents and their children are welcome to attend. The class is designed to teach baking basics to children and adults of all experience levels, focusing on decorating to match the Valentine’s Day theme.
Sarah Billups, the course’s host, will share her knowledge and baking skills to help attendees discover creative ways to decorate cookies to match a holiday theme. Guests will enjoy taking the cookies home and sharing them with friends and family. It’s an opportunity for Kernersville residents to make baking memories with their children. Printing services are a fantastic resource to create recipe materials for events like this.
Each guest will decorate eight provided cookies at the event, with Billups encouraging puns and creative decorations. The course aspires to teach new skills while providing a fun environment for all participants. Children five and over can attend and share in the learning experience.
The course will be held at Bunker Hill Methodist Church on Sunday, February 4 starting at 3:00 PM and ending at 4:30 PM. Tickets cost $40, with the ticket providing entry to one adult and one child.
