A painting event is preparing to open its doors for interested parties and area artists who want to use their skills to finish pre-drawn canvases in a fun setting.
The ACOTAR Paint-a-Canvas gathering has announced its start date, and interested parties will want to reserve a spot to enjoy a memorable evening of painting with like-minded individuals. Attendees will receive step-by-step instructions when painting a canvas themed to a literary story. Guests will enjoy the painting experience while having access to trivia games, drinks, and an after-hours shopping experience.
The gathering will be open to adults only. Each registered guest will receive a pre-drawn 12-inch-by-12-inch canvas with painting instructions, and no painting experience is necessary. All materials – including brushes, paints, and easels – will be provided within the registration price. Printing services can help guests make Copies of their finished works to gift or share with friends and family after attending such events.
Alaina, a local artist, will guide the painting session and help each painter navigate the process from start to finish. Themed drinks will provide a setting for artists to socialize and create new friendships.
The artistic evening will be held at Byrdhouse Books in Kernersville on Wednesday, April 9. The event will run from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Tickets are $40 and can be bought online.
