Cookout raises funds for scholarships in Kernersville

A Greek sponsored cookout is in the works in Kernersville with attendees doing their part to raise money in support of academic scholarships for local students.

The 2025 Winston-Salem/Forsyth County NPHC Greek Cookout is coming to town next month, and Kernersville residents are invited to enjoy good food and company while supporting a great cause. Attendees will enjoy opportunities to try several types of cuisines while listening to live music from local bands and musicians.

The gathering will provide a family-friendly setting, and children are welcome to join in the fun. Guests can sign up for the friendly competitions held during the cookout, with all proceeds benefiting local students seeking scholarships to continue their education. Vendors will attend the cookout to display their products, crafts, and other goods. Promotional products are a fantastic resource to help these vendors build credibility, trust, and brand awareness at such events.

Attendees can also enter the event’s 50/50 raffle for the chance to go home as winners. Other competitions will include volleyball, cornhole, and spades. The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County National Pan-Hellenic Society is organizing the cookout to add to the organization’s scholarship fund.

The cookout will be held at Triad Park’s Shelter #6 in Kernersville on Sunday, June 1st, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Tickets are available online, costing $20 per adult and $10 per child.
