Huntersville is gearing up to honor fallen soldiers from the area at the end of the month, in what will be the 22nd annual Memorial Day Ceremony.
The ceremony, organized by the Huntersville and American Legion Post 321, promises to be a moving tribute to the soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for our country. The ceremony will kick off with the Community Singers of Lake Norman, rendering patriotic songs to pay tribute to the fallen heroes. Local BSA Troop 19 will also be present at the event, distributing mini flags to the audience as a symbol of unity and pride.
At precisely 11:00 am, the "salute to the fallen" will be conducted by American Legion Post 321. The colors will be presented, followed by an instrumental selection by renowned bagpipe player David Thornburg.
The event will take place at Veterans Park at 14008 Holbrooks Road in Huntersville on Monday, May 29, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Organizers of events like this often engage Print shops in producing various Promotional Products to advertise the event.
The event is free to the public, and seating will be available on a first come, first served basis. Residents of Huntersville and the surrounding areas are invited to attend and show their support for these individuals. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on during the ceremony.
