The Caribbean Carnival Festival is taking place next month in Greensboro for two days.
This is the inaugural year for the festival, which organizers hope will be an annual event for the Greensboro community. It will celebrate the food and culture of the Caribbean with events that will please the entire family.
The festival is set to feature authentic Caribbean food such as jerk chicken (with a very spicy dry rub), pepperpot (a stew with vegetables and beef) and papaya fruit. There will also be musical performances from Caribbean-inspired artists and traditional dances. No doubt there will also be a variety of Carnival costumes and performances.
Vendors will also be on hand to sell a variety of Caribbean-related merchandise and food. Vendor booths are still available for $150 for general merchandise and $250 for food.
VIP tickets are available for purchase for $250, which includes all-you-can-eat food and drink.
It is likely that many of the vendors planning to take part will be investing in products from a Greensboro banner printing to make their booths more attractive to the public.
The Caribbean Carnival Festival will be held at the Mill Entertainment Complex from July 14 to 15. Tickets are $10 until June 14 and $15 after. For the most up-to-date information about the festival, or to become a vendor, call 336-740-6261.
