Greensboro is about to go retro thanks to an activity that will treat local fathers and daughters to a special evening out.
The dance planned for the community will have a theme that draws inspiration from the music, clothing, and other trends from ‘80s and ‘90s. Everyone is encouraged to dress the part, and tickets for the four-hour function start at $10. Siblings are welcome, and additional passes are $10 each.
The ticket holders for the celebration will be able to show off some of the best dance moves to music from the past, and to make the occasion even more fun, a friendly competition will be taking place. Prizes will be presented to those who best represent the ‘80s or ‘90s, and the music for the occasion will be supplied by DJ Smallwonda. The function is being presented by the Rosa Foundation.
When planning a themed event, organizers choose to utilize custom designed decor. This will be available at local banner printing companies, which will also be able to supply everything from Letterheads to Copies of vendor contract agreements.
The Simkins Indoor Sports Pavilion in Greensboro will be hosting this celebration of the connection between dads and daughters on June 18. It will begin at 5:00 pm, and tickets may be purchased by visiting its online listing.
