The 2nd annual End of Summer Music Festival is taking place in Greensboro at the end of next month.
Filled will lots of family friendly activities that should appeal to people of all tastes, three $500 college scholarships will be awarded to deserving high school students during the festival.
The hosts of this year’s event will be Simpli Net and Gavin Williams. There will be musical entertainment from groups such as Sweet Dream, Sybil, and 3Staxx. DJ Elvis Casey will also be spinning some tunes. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs to enjoy the music.
There will also be lots of physical activities to take part in also. One activity will be knockerball, which is a soccer game where people strap themselves into a giant inflatable ball that covers their head and torso.
Vendors will also be on hand to sell arts and crafts and other merchandise. Spaces are still available and fees are $50, which included admission to the festival for two, or free for nonprofit organizations with one admission.
Official T-Shirts are available for purchase. It is likely that they will be provided by a Greensboro company that provides Graphic Design Services.
The End of Summer Music Festival will be held at Aggie Park on August 28 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children and students.
