Charity vehicle show planned for High Point

High Point car buffs who have been looking for an opportunity to show off their pride and joy will soon be able to do so, and support local causes at the same time.

The 2023 Charity Car Show will be taking over the parking area at the Summit Credit Union, and it will welcome both those who wish to display their “baby” and the general public as well. The charities of choice are Backpack Beginnings and also the Summit Credit Union’s Hamilton Scholarship Fund, and the cars, trucks, and other rides will be just the start of the fun to be had.

Anyone who is interested in entering the show can choose from either a display only or competition ticket, and the price starts at $10. The organizers have also asked everyone to bring along a generous donation of non-perishable food and toiletries, and cash contributions will also be most appreciated. Food will be on offer for purchase, and face painters will be circulating.

One of the tasks undertaken by the organizer of a friendly competition is choosing awards to present to the winners. A printing services company will be happy to help.

This opportunity for High Point vehicle buffs to come together and enjoy some fun in support of their fellow community members is scheduled for October 14. It will be open from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.
