Business summit helps new and established businesses improve

The 8th annual Small Business Summit is taking place next month in Guilford County The event will be presented by the Guilford Community College – Small Business Center, the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, the Highpoint Chamber of Commerce, and the Guilford Merchants Association.

There are two different tracks to the summit: the Start-Up and the Existing Business track.

The Start-up track is obviously aimed at businesses that are just beginning. Attendees will have access to local experts who will be able to advise them on every aspect of starting a business, likely including writing a business plan and finding financing.

The Existing Business track will provide training in the newest tools and resources. They will also find out about important topics that should be on their radar. This track will also be a networking opportunity for attendees.

Tickets to the summit are free of charge, but those who are interested must register in advance.

Many of the attendees of the Existing Business track will no doubt be placing a new business card printing order with their favorite Greensboro area printing company so they will have enough to exchange with their peers.

The Small Business Summit will be held at Guildford Technical Community College on January 6 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. To learn more, or to pre-register, call 336-334-4822 x62001.
