Biannual festival returns to downtown Greensboro

The Greensboro Food Truck Festival is making its final return for the year next month.

The festival happens twice a year, in April and August. The August event is set to feature 50 food trucks selling a variety of food and drink, and local craft beer will also be available for purchase.

There will be musical entertainment on two separate stages from a number of local artists including Grey Musgrove, Hot Wax and the Splinters, and the Raleigh Rockers. In addition, Chalk on Elm will return to showcase local chalk artists such as Shawn Howard, Summer Graham, and Jenna Rice.

There will also be children’s activities taking place during the afternoon and evening. These activities will include bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, and bubble sports.

There are also set to be arts and crafts vendors that will be selling items such as handmade jewelry, ceramics, clothing, and fine art. No doubt some may provide demonstrations of their skills.

Events like this are popular in the Greensboro area and organizers often hire local Stationery printers to provide Flyers to advertise.

The Greensboro Food Truck Festival will be held on August 26 from 3:00 to 9:00 PM at Greene Street, Market Street, and Elm Street. Admission is free of charge. For the most current information about this event, visit the official website.
