Halloween events galore planned for Fayetteville

A variety of events is planned for Fayetteville to celebrate the Halloween holiday season, and no doubt the organizations sponsoring these events are using a variety of printing services to let people in the community become aware of them.

Every year, the Stoney Point Trail of Terror takes place, which is a walk-through town filled with dark attractions, special effects, horrific actors, and terrifying monsters. This event, which will take place over the next three days and on the final two days of October, is sponsored by the Stoney Point Fire Department, which will use the proceeds to help the department purchase emergency equipment, replace worn out materials, buy uniforms, and invest back into the event in order to make improvements.

On October 25 and 26, the Museum of the Cape Fear Historical Complex is set to run Halloween Revels night tours of the 1897 Poe House, beginning at 6:00 pm. Poe household members and family friends will be portrayed by actors from the Gilbert Theater in order to give visitors a chance encounter with the customs and traditions of Halloween from the past.

The Vander Haunted Trail, also occurring on October 25 and 26 as well as Halloween night, is a trail through Fayetteville peppered with houses and mazes along the way. Proceeds of the event go to supports research at St. Jude’s Hospital.

Also taking place on those same three days will be the Field of Screams offered by Gills Hill Road Produce. It includes a haunted corn maze and other activities.
