HandMADE Montana will organize a seasonal marketplace in December at the Adams Center in Missoula.
The Missoula Holiday MADE Fair is a shopping experience where people can browse stalls run by local and regional artists. There will be more than 200 creators and nonprofit organizations at the event. All three levels of the Adams Center will have shops to explore. Those interested in being the first consumers to browse the vendors can pay for a VIP pass. Businesses taking part in these seasonal fairs can improve their booth’s visibility with banner printing services.
HandMADE Montana is an organization that helps artisans and makers connect with consumers through curated events. The first marketplace organized by the group was the Missoula MADE Fair in 2007. The organizers for the market were Angie Oakins and Carol Lynn Lapotka. Oakins owns Elements Jewelry, and Lapotka is the founder of REcreate Designs. Many venues have been used by the organization, like the Lewis & Clark Fairgrounds and Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.
The marketplace will be held on December 10th from 11:00am to 5:00pm. General admission to the event is free, though visitors are asked to donate an item to the Missoula Food Bank. Those who want to access the market at 9:00am can pay $15 for VIP admission. A portion of the VIP sales will benefit the Community Food & Agriculture Coalition.
