Country-pop legend to visit Missoula

A concert in Missoula in a few weeks is bringing a singing star to the local crowd.

Shania Twain’s career may have started slowly, but by her second album, Twain had found her groove. The project produced several major hits, even earning Twain a Grammy for “Best Country Album.” Since then, Twain has continued to write music and perform, including in a residency in Vegas. She earned four additional Grammys, entered the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, published a memoir called “From This Moment On,” and appeared in films like “I Still Believe” and “Trading Paint.” Now 59 years old, her most recent album “Queen of Me” was released in 2023.

Inside Twain’s discography are songs like “You’re Still The One,” “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!,” “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” and “Best Friend.”

Shania Twain: Live In Concert will be coming to Missoula’s Washington Grizzly Stadium. Tickets are available for $30 to $129 from GrizTix, or $60.82 to $819.25 from Ticketmaster. The latter option offers purely resale tickets, while the former is the primary vendor for this show. Many musicians will hire a Logo Design service to put their logo onto several types of merchandise so they can sell the items to the audience.

The performance will start at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 2. The opening acts are Lindsay Ell and Kip Moore.
