The Western Montana Creative Initiatives will be hosting an auction in Missoula to help raise funds for its cause.
Glow is a program where people can support a local arts organization by bidding on the creations made by 30 local artists. The art creators for the live and silent auctions include Cameron Decker, Sophia Hart, and Shelby Baldridge. Guests can enjoy jazz music provided by Cork & Spark, and there will even be a tapas buffet. The program will be held at the Missoula Public Library. Wine and beer can be bought with cash at the auction.
The Western Montana Creative Initiatives is a nonprofit created in 2019 to help connect people with creativity. Many activities are organized by the group, such as quilting programs and art presentations. The organization also offers summer workshops on topics like direct animation and printmaking. The nonprofit has several site partners, including the Flathead Lake Biological Station, Travelers Rest State Park, and the Montana Natural History Center.
The art auction will be held on Friday, November 3rd from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Tickets for the event will cost guests $75 per person, while tickets for the participating artists are $50 per person. Tables for six people can be reserved for $400. Nonprofit groups coordinating auctions such as this may use flyer printing to get more people interested in the shows.
