Missoula event to provide children with colorful experience

A local event taking place in a month is giving the area’s youngest residents and their families a chance to celebrate an approaching holiday in a way that is exciting and interactive.

Missoula’s Best Easter Egg Hunt is an activity that takes the widely popular Easter game of hunting for special eggs and aims the focus onto the younger crowd, providing them with a place to use up some of their energy.

Easter eggs are typically covered in bright colors and patterns, which should make the prizes easier to find. Every participating child should come prepared with their own basket.

The hunt welcomes participants under the age of 12. The pool of participants will be split into two groups; those aged five and below will get the first go at the activity, with their reserved slot starting at 10:00am. Children between six and 12 will follow at 11:00am, an hour later.

The hosts of the event are Missoula’s Best After School & Summer Camp. The hunt is free; however, registration is required in order to control the crowds and make it simpler for the staff to keep everything running smoothly. The form to sign up can be found online.

The venue will be the Meadowlark Shelter within the Fort Missoula Regional Park. Many community-oriented experiences use promotion techniques such as flyer printing, as it allows for more complete and wider spread coverage. The extravaganza will take place on April 5.
