Food and music event to return to Missoula
The Downtown Missoula Partnership will bring back its annual Out to Lunch event this summer at Caras Park.
Out to Lunch is a community program where people can listen to a variety of live performances and browse multiple food trucks throughout the summer. The entertainment lineup for this year’s event will include acts like Patti Nolan & The Undeniables, the Ed Norton Big Band, and Justin Harris & The Pocket Aces. Many organizations will attend the fest to provide activities for children, such as the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula and The Clay Studio of Missoula.
Attendees can purchase food from vendors like Kamoon Arabian Cuisine, Ragheef Arabic Flatbread, and Mountain Berry Bowls. There will also be beverage stalls at the park, such as Isla’s Lemonade. People can buy Caras Cash to use for the event from the Downtown Missoula Partnership office. The special currency may also be used at the Downtown ToNight event. This year, the fest will debut a new weekly bar that is sponsored by The Rhinoceros.
The community lunch and concert event will be held every Wednesday between June 5th and August 28th. There is no cost for guests to enter the park or enjoy the performances. The parking garages near the event will provide a free hour of parking to all attendees. Cities in charge of similar festivals can create their own outdoor advertisements with banner printing services.
