Wentzville Holiday Night Lights will be coming in mid-November. The festivities will include a drive-through, 5k, Fun Run, and walk-through.
The Holiday Night Lights Drive-thru will be a one-mile-long series of tunnels adorned with twinkly Christmas lights and commercial illuminated holiday scenes. Kids can speak to Santa in the Kolb Building on Saturdays.
The drive-thru will open November 25 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm at Rotary Park. Admission will be $10 per car and $1 for every additional passenger passed six.
Holiday Night Lights 5k will take participants through Rotary Park’s light displays the Stonemoor Subdivision.
The cost will be $35, and swag will include finisher medals, fleece-blend sweatshirts sporting this year’s event graphic design and post-race snacks. The top three overall female and male finishers will receive gift cards. Medals go to top female and male finishers in nine age categories.
The 5K will begin at 5:00 pm, and the Fun Run will begin afterward.
Holiday Night Lights 5k and Fun Run will take place December 12 beginning at the park.
From 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, The Holiday Night Lights Walk-Thru, also taking place on December 12, will be a leisurely stroll through the one-mile lights and displays. Carolers will be singing along the route. Inside the Kolb Building will be aglow with decorated trees donated by local organizations and businesses. Refreshments will be served, and kids can have their pictures taken with Santa. Tickets will be $5.
