A Live Mouse racing fundraiser will take place in late January, and a Trivia Night fundraiser has been scheduled for late February.
The local Mo Gators Gwaltney/Cherven IOU Baseball squad will be holding its annual Mouse Races fundraiser. Tickets will be $25 each and the name of the player being supported needs to be included in the memo. Along with the live mouse races, there will be free drinks, raffle baskets and a 50/50. The live mouse races will take place Friday, January 30th, beginning at 6:30 pm at Progress Park Banquet Hall, 968 Meyer Road.
The 5th Annual Liberty Band Boosters Trivia night will be a lively game-show-like trivia evening benefiting the Wentzville Liberty High School Marching Band.
The games will be general trivia with a wide range of categories.
Guests are encouraged to decorate their tables in a game-show theme for the Game Show-Themed Table Decorating contest, and the event will include silent auctions, raffles and prizes. Complimentary soft drinks and water will be available, and guests may opt to bring their own booze. Tables that seat up to 8 people will be available for $200.
Businesses that donate baskets for raffles and silent auction at events like these often include Business Cards with each donation.
The 5th Annual Liberty Band Boosters Trivia Night will take place Friday, February 27th from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Progress Park Recreation Center, 968 Meyer Road.
