The Althea Project will be presenting its first annual Charity Golf Tournament in mid-September, and Wentzville United Methodist Church is presenting its 26th Annual Adopt-A-Family Golf Outing at the end of September.
The Althea Project's first annual Charity Golf Tournament individual registration will be $125, and includes continental breakfast, lunch soda and water.
Breakfast will begin at 7:00 am followed by the shotgun start at 8:00 am and lunch after play. A hole-in-one challenge winner will go home in a 2025 Mazda MX5 Miata Sport.
Proceeds will go to The Althea Project community housing programs for those overcoming substance abuse.
The Althea Project Charity Golf Tournament will take place at the Bear Creek Golf Club, 158 Bear Creek Drive, on September 21st
The 26th Annual Adopt-A-family Golf Outing will be a 4-person scramble with a shot gun start. Prizes will go to the winners of the hole-in-one, the closest to the pin, longest drive and longest putt contests. There will be a skins game and a silent auction with sports memorabilia.
Registration and lunch will be from noon to 12:45 pm with the start at 1:00 pm.
Registration for individual players will be $110 and team registration will be $440.
Organisers often have flyer printing done at local Print shops to promote their events. The 26th Adopt-Family Golf Outing will take place Saturday, September 27th from noon to 5:30 pm at the Golf Club of Wentzville, 9 Pro Shop Drive.
