Wentzville runners, families and their pups are invited to get out, enjoy the fall weather and exercise by participating in two events over the coming weeks.
Dogs and strollers are asked to start at the back of the pack in the Wentzville Wobble One-Mile Walk/Run, which is coming up first. Registration will be $25 for Wentzville residents and $35 for non-residents. There will not be no registration on race day, and those who register after next Saturday, October 25 will not be guaranteed race T-Shirts.
The Wentzville Wobble will take place from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Saturday, November 22 at Peruque Valley Park, 1335 S. Point Prairie Road.
A few weeks later, the Holiday Night Lights 5k and Fun Run will take participants through Rotary Park on a course festooned with holiday lights accompanied by music of the season.
Registration for the 5k will be $45 for residents and $55 for non-residents, or $30 for residents and $40 for non-residents running the HNL Fun Run. Preregistration is required. Swag will include finisher medals and crewneck unisex sweatshirts.
Seasonal race organizers often get local Print shops to decorate race swag and merchandise with a festive logo or graphic.
This event will be on Sunday, December 7 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Rotary Park, 2577 W Meyer Road.
