Two fundraisers have been scheduled for Wentzville in April.
Step Up Speak Out will be a free family-oriented walk, hosted by Northeast Missouri’s Prevention Team of the Child Advocacy Center.
The walk will be on a paved path. A prevention education specialist will be on hand to explain local child abuse prevention programs. Reka, the facility dog will be meeting and greeting guests. Chalk will be passed out to anyone wanting to enter the Sidewalk Chalk challenges.
Perks available for purchase include pinwheels, refreshments, and prevention T-Shirts sporting the Step Up Speak Out Logo Design.
The walk will take place at Heartland Park, 100 William Dierberg Drive, from 10:00 am to noon on April 2.
Wentzville trivia buffs will be turning out for the Liberty Eagles Foot Ball Team Trivia Night. This will be the inaugural run for the event hosted by The Liberty High School Kingdom Club. The evening will include 10 rounds of trivia, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle.
Individual trivia aficionados opting for the $25 tickets will need to bring their own snacks and purchase drinks, including wine, cocktails, and beer available at the bar. Drinks will be included in the $200 tickets for regular tables of eight, and tickets for VIP Tables of eight at $400 will include food and drinks served to the table.
Trivia Night will take place Saturday, April 23 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wentzville American Legion Post 323, 504 Luetkehaus Boulevard.
