The St. Charles County Fair will be coming to Wentzville in the last full week of July.
Gates will open Tuesday the 22nd at 4:00 pm. The St. Charles Jaycees will present their annual Little Mister and Miss Saint Charles County and judges will be looking for cuteness, personality, poise in the first segment and appropriate dress in the second. This year's theme for the casual wear category will be "“Little Lights, Big Dreams - Let Freedom Ring.”
Oher kids contests will be Kids Pig Scramble for kids six through twelve, Big Kids Pig Scramble for kids 13 through 18, and Tug of War on Friday, and the baby contest, turtle and frog races, Nickel Scramble and sack race on Saturday.
Proud parents of children who win contests like these often take pictures of them holding their awards to local Print shops for duplicates for family and friends.
Adult admission tickets will be $15 for Tuesday, $20 for Wednesday and $25 for Friday. Children's tickets for kids from the ages of six to twelve will be $5. All tickets will include entertainment carnival rides and parking.
Future Farmers of America and 4-Hs will be exhibiting beef, hogs, and lambs, and local residents will be entering fine art projects and home economics exhibits in the Kolb Exhibition Hall on the 22nd.
This year's St. Charles County Fair will take place from July 22nd through July 26th at Rotary Park, 2577 W Meyer Road.
