Wentzville will be celebrating this year's 4th of July with a parade, free swimming and fireworks.
This year the theme for the parade is "All American Summer," and everyone is invited to design floats. Awards will go to first, second and third places for best themed floats, Mayor's Choice and for first second and third place for overall. Fees for entering the parade for non-profit organizations and city offices will be $20, county offices and individual entries will be $40, and federal and state offices, organizations and businesses will pay $60.
Many parade participants, especially those who submit float entries, often get banner printing done at local Print shops. The colorful Banners are then placed on the floats to introduce them to the spectators.
Those participating in the parade will begin lining up at Wentzville Ice Arena, 910 Main Plaza Drive, at 8:00 am. The parade will step off at 10:00 am, turn south on Luetkenhaus Boulevard, west onto W. Pearce Boulevard and end at the intersection of Allen and Pearce at the old City Hall.
From noon to 5:00 pm, Progress Park Pool, 968 Meyer Road, will be open for a free swim for residents and Aquatic Season Passholders. Everyone is invited to stick around and enjoy the fireworks beginning at 9:30 pm.
Wentzville's 2025 4th of July Celebration will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.
