Wentzville residents may walk, drive, or run through this year's Holiday Night Lights, opening in late November.
The one-mile drive-thru will have huge holiday illuminated scenes and twinkling lit tunnels. Santa will be in the Kolb Building on Saturdays to visit with the children.
The opening night will be Friday, November 29 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The drive-thru will be open daily except for December 9 and 25.
The Holiday Night Lights 5k and Fun Run will take place Sunday, December 8, beginning at 5:00 pm. Swag will include fleece-blend, unisex crewneck sweatshirts and finisher medals. Local runs like this often go to nearby Print shops to arrange Logo Design services and put the logo on race shirts.
Monday, December 9 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm has been reserved for the Holiday Nights Light Walk Thru. Attendees will be taking a more leisurely stroll through the displays. Carolers will be scattered along the route to provide holiday music. At the end of their walks, everyone is invited to the winter wonderland taking place inside the Kolb Building. Santa will be waiting there to have his picture taken with children and their families. If the weather becomes a problem, the event will be moved to December 10.
The Holiday Night Lights will take place at Rotary Park, 2577 W Meyer Road, and concludes on December 30.
