Two Easter-themed events have been scheduled for Wentzville for mid-April.
The city's annual children's Egg Hunt will have colored eggs filled with candy and a few will have slips of paper that may be submitted for prizes scattered around a large part of the field.
At 9:30 am the sections will welcome the 1- to 2-year-olds and the 9- to 10-year-olds. The fields will be restocked and will welcome the 3- and 4-year-olds and the 5- and 6-year-olds at 10:30 am.
The Easter Bunny will be available for photos and other festivities will be available after each time slot.
Pre-event tickets are $10 for each participant and will be $15 at the event.
The Community Egg Hunt will take place April 12th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Heartland Park, 100 William Dierberg Drive.
Starting at noon Wentzville pooches will get to attend their own Bone Hunt. They will be hunting for bones, dog treats and toys. Every dog will receive a doggie bag and be entered in drawings for door prizes.
Tickets are $15 before the event and $20 on event day.
Family members often snap pictures at these types of events and take the photo to nearby Print shops to be added to family newsletters.
This year's Bone Hunt will be Saturday, April 12th at Rotary Park, W Meyer Road.
