Wentzville’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza will be coming in early April. Easter Eggstravaganza will feature both private hunts and a community hunt.
The private hunts will be for individual families and friends on 20’ by 20’ areas. These areas must be reserved ahead of time online for $25. Times for these hunts will be half-hour slots from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Each area is for one child and will contain 30 eggs. Additional hunters cost $5 each and extra eggs can be purchased for $15 for 25.
A community egg hunt will be held on larger parts of the field. Preregistration will be $10 per child and registration on event day will be $15 per child. Hunts for children ages 1 to 2, 7 to 8, and 9 to 10 will begin at 9:30 am, and the ones for those from ages 3 to 6 will begin at 10:30 am. Registration for the community egg hunt will be $10.
Hunters will want to remember to redeem any slips of paper found in the eggs for prizes. This will be a BYOB (bring your own basket) affair.
The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures, and there will be live entertainment. Families taking pictures with the Easter Bunny will have time to get them to Stationery printers to be made into personalized Easter cards.
Easter Eggstravaganza will take place Saturday, April 1 at Heartland Park, 100 William Dierberg Drive.
