Town celebrates fall with festival

Historic Downtown Wentzville will be holding its annual Fall Festival in mid-September. This will be two-days of family-friendly activities including live music by local teen talent, crafts and food vendors, and a kids’ area.

Live music will be on the Kids Stage. The performance lineup on Friday will be Steve Ewing from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and my Friend Mike from 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Saturday’s line up will include Biscuits & Gravy from noon to 2:00 pm, Fanfare from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, On the Fence from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Silver Bullet from 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Local food trucks will be selling treats such as shaved ice from Kona Ice and Lulu’s Shaved Ice, sweets from Shiek’s Sweets, ice cream at Sedara, nuts from The Nutty Sisters, and hot peppers from Hot Dan Peppers. Other vendors will include S & D Artistry, Usborne Books & More, Amber Jo Boutique, Barley & Vine, Pure Romance, Traveling Tom, Color Street, and Bling It Up Art Body Art.

Arts and craft people will be selling their homemade one-of-a-kind wares. Many arts and craft vendors include their Business Cards with purchases so customers can find them again for repeat custom.

The Wentzville Fall Festival will be at Allen & Main Street in downtown Wentzville from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm September 16th and noon until 10:30 pm Saturday, September 17th.
