Runners take on Wentzville Wobble and Holiday Night Lights

To burn a few calories before tackling their Thanksgiving dinners, many Wentzville runners will be racing in the popular one-mile Wentzville Wobble.

Registration is $35, and swag includes custom long-sleeve t shirts sporting the event’s gold, brown and red turkey graphic design. Registration must be done online as there will be no registration on race day. The Wentzville Wobble will take place from 8:00 am to 9:00 am.

Many runners will be coming an hour later and bringing their pooches for the Dog Mile Wentzville Wobble. All dogs must have current rabies identification and be at least six months old. Dogs and owners will have 20 minutes to finish the one-mile course.

Packets may be picked up at the WREC November 20th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and the next evening from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

Both Wentzville Wobble events will take place on November 23rd at Wentzville Recreation Center, 500 Great Oaks.

On December 3rd, from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm, runners may take a jaunt through the Rotary Park Light display at the Holiday Night Lights 5k and Fun Run.

Registration for the 5k will be $35, and $20 for the Fun Run. Swag will be finisher medals and fleece-blend, unisex, crewneck sweatshirts. Packages for the run may be picked up November 30th or December 1st from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm, and on race day at the WREC.

Holiday Night Lights 5K and Fun Run will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, beginning at WREC.
