Wentzville Police Department will hold its 5th annual Blue Line Family 5K Run/Walk, including a live 5K run, virtual 5K and a kids’ run, toward the end of June.
The course will take runners and walkers through scenic Heartland Park. In-person 5K run/walk registration is $25, and the virtual event is $30. These registrations along, with the free kids’ run entries, are available online.
Adult 5K swag includes custom race shirts featuring this year’s event’s Logo Design and finisher medals. Kids will get the option to purchase race shirts for $10 during registration on race day.
The live event will begin rain or shine at 7:00 am with the adults’ 5K. That will be followed by the free run for children under 13 years old at 8:00 am. Awards will go to some of the top finishers.
Packet pickup for those participating in the live event will be in the police station lobby, 1019 Schroeder Creek Blvd., from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on June 24, and again from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm the following day. Virtual runner packets will be sent.
Profits from the event will go to the non-profit Wentzville Blue Line Family Inc.
The 5th Annual Blue Line Family 5K will be Sunday, June 26 beginning at 7:00 am at Heartland Park, 100 William Dierberg Drive.
