Wentzville residents will be able to enjoy a unique and festive tour in mid-December. Proceeds will help keep a local organization running.
The Holiday Home Tour is an annual event put on by the Wentzville Community Historical Society each year. It allows attendees to travel around a set course of houses decorated for the Christmas season. Some of the homeowners will even open their doors to the people who are on the tour, creating an immersive experience.
Once attendees finish looking at all the festive decor, they have an open invitation to visit the Friendship Brewing Company. Those who do will be given a ticket for a free drink. In addition, they will be entered in a drawing for a gift basket. Additional raffle tickets will also be for sale at the bar.
Tickets for the tour will cost $20. Prior to the date of the event, they can be found online at Eventbrite, as well as at several local businesses. These include Ehll’s Western Auto and Ellbee’s General Store. On the day of the event, tickets can be purchased at the Historical Center. Proceeds from the ticket purchases will go back to the Historical Society. Flyer printing will often be used when promoting similar events.
The tours will run from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on December 12, with the last one beginning at 6:00 pm. The starting point is the Historical Center, and the course runs through downtown Wentzville.
