What's Happening in Wentzville, MO…

Residents near the city of Wentzville will soon have a new events center in the area as Cedar Lake Cellars recently broke ground on a venue.

The building with will consist of approximately 7,500 square feet will be constructed to accommodate a variety of functions.

The building will be called The Barrel Room and will accommodate seating for up to 300 people. Located on the grounds of the winery, it will offer attendees of view of the property’s three-acre lake. The venue will offer retractable walls making the space flexible for clients’ needs and allowing more than one function to take place at a time. The space will also have a full stage and dance floor to accommodate banquets and receptions.

The Barrel Room is only one of many renovations taking place at the winery and will likely be featured in upcoming Brochures and Promotional Products. Other renovations include expanding the kitchen size and adding a commercial grade smoker.

Restroom stalls will be added to accommodate functions with a large number of guests as well. Outdoor space will be upgraded to include hog pits to do roasts, and expanding the parking lot to include space for up to 2,500 vehicles.

Doing their part for the environment, Cedar Lake Cellars will also accommodate a larger trash management and recycling area. The winery is also expected to increase its number of employees with up to five new positions. It is expected that renovations will be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2017.
