Community celebrates Wentzville Days

This year’s Wentzville Days, a free three-day music festival along with a fair, is coming toward the end of May.

Guests will get to enjoy drinks, food, merchandise and games at 10’ by 10’ booths lining the pathway. Craft vendors will be on hand vending their original one-of-a-kind creations. Food booths will be restricted to three items. A carnival will be on the site and will set its own prices.

Information vendors such as local businesses and local non-profits will be passing out Business Cards with information about their goods and services. Many will have inter-active activities for the kids.

Bands will be performing live all three days. On Friday the lineup will include Breakdown Shakedown from 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm and Trixie Delight from 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Saturday’s performances will begin at 12:30 pm with New Crime Theatre. It will run until 2:15 pm. Retro Boogie will take to the stage from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm followed by Wildfire from 5:45 p to 7:45 pm. The evening will end with Superjam playing from 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Arvell and Company will start Sunday’s lineup at noon. They will go until 2:30 pm, and Dr. Zhivegas will play from 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm.

The event organizers are searching for local Teen Talent to perform during the event.

Wentzville Days will be coming May 20th through the 22nd at the Progress Park Rec Center, 968 Meyer Road.
