Octoberfest, which is held in Wentzville’s Historic Downtown Village Center, is now welcoming artist and crafter applications for the yearly event.
Artists participating in the event are eligible for cash prizes, which include Best of Show offering a $500 award. Other prizes awarded will be a $300 second place award and $150 for third place. A People’s Choice trophy will be awarded, along with various honorable mentions. Artists attending the event likely work with local Print company to ensure they have up to date Banners and an adequate supply of Brochures and Promotional Products.
Octoberfest, a wine, art and musical festival, will have something for everyone to enjoy. For $20, attendees can visit the Wine, Craft Beer and Spirits Tasting Tent to enjoy a variety of samplings the region has to offer.
The event will also feature musical entertainment, art demonstrations, dance acts, and more taking place on the three stages located throughout the festival. There will also be a Children’s Village that will have a variety of activities and games. Those attending the event will also be able to visit various food vendors who will be on site.
This year’s event has been extended to two days and will be held on October 8th and 9th. The event will have regular admission and VIP options for those wishing to attend.
