St. Peters to host free community pet event

St. Peters pet lovers should note that PETaPalooza will be held in a local park this September, bringing together pet businesses, adoption organizations, pet owners, and other animal lovers in a day of furry fun.

The event will take place in a new location this year, Laurel Park, which features swimming pools, baseball fields, tennis courts, and playgrounds for children. St. Peters Animal Control will host the expo, which will be free to all community members.

Attendees will get the chance to enjoy meeting local vendors who will be selling pet-related products, such as leashes, collars, pet clothing, treats, and toys. Organizations offering pet services such as grooming and day care will also be advertising their services.

Animal adoption and rescue agencies will be present at the event so that attendees can learn more about how they can help animal rescue efforts or even adopt a new furry family member. St. Peters PD K-9 Audie will also be available for meet-and-greets. Food trucks like JR's Tacos and Latte Lounge will be selling food and beverages to guests.

Vendors deciding to participate in community events like this may find it useful to bring along new Business Cards to hand out to attendees perusing booths.

The PETaPalooza is scheduled for September 12 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Laurel Park is located at 3000 McClay Valley Boulevard, St. Peters.
