To celebrate Derby Day in style, the Professional Firefighters Banquet Center in St. Peters will hold the Annual Kentucky Derby Party this May.
The PFEM Hall and Banquet Center is associated with the Professional Fire Fighters of Eastern Missouri (PFEM) Local 2665 and holds the Local 2665 offices. However, its facilities, which include a main hall, lower hall, and restaurant, are open to the public, without requiring any firefighter connections. The PFEM Hall also hosts various special events and galas for the community, such as the Kentucky Derby Day Party happening in May.
The Derby Party will begin with a pre-party complete with a DJ spinning tunes. There will be drink specials offered and half-priced beef nachos from the onsite restaurant. Attendees should dress to impress as there will be a Ladies Hat Contest and Best Dressed Couples Contest to participate in. There will also be trivia, attendance prizes, and $5 Derby Horse Bets.
Organizers of themed parties like this will often drum up interest in said events by distributing large-scale, colorful Posters that can be advertised on community center bulletin boards or in other high-traffic areas. Local Print shops with speciality poster printing services may be frequented by these organizers.
The Kentucky Derby Party is slated for May 2, beginning at 3:00 pm. The PFEM Hall is located at 115 McMenamy Road, St. Peters.
