Although winter may have just arrived, it won’t be long until its time to start spring cleaning, and an Oakdale event will help people earn some extra money from items they no longer need.
The community has planned a large indoor garage sale, and those who are interested in taking part are welcome to book their space now. Each person who does so will have their own “booth”, which will consist of two tables where they will be able to display the items they have for sale. The location for each space will be assigned to the participants on a first come, first served basis.
The organizers of the function wish to remind anyone who plans on selling their unwanted items that no large furniture is permitted for sale. Only a limited number of spaces will be made available, so anyone who would like to be involved is encouraged to register to do so as soon as possible. The fee to do so has been set at $22.00 each. Banners, Signs and many other items that can help to make this type of function successful can be supplied by a local printer.
The Oakdale Discovery Center will serve as the venue for this community event, and it is scheduled to take place on March 10th.
