An Oakdale area venue has set the date for what it describes as being its most spirited fundraiser, and it will offer a respite from the cold of a Minnesota winter.
The Como Park Zoo and Conservatory will be bringing a touch of the warmer seasons to the area when it hosts its Bouquet 2025 celebration in late February. The monies raised will allow it to continue to offer free admission and programming, and at the time this was written, tickets were still available.
The gathering will feature pours of wine as well as craft beer, and food will be served as well. It will be set up in the venue’s Visitor's Center as well as the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, and live music will add an additional festive touch. Games and other hands-on fun will be included, and everyone can try their luck in the silent auction.
While the main goal of the function is for the guests to have a great time, it will also provide a learning opportunity. The attendees will discover how their support is helping the zoo and conservatory move into the future by funding an assortment of improvements.
When organizing a fundraiser, marketing is often one of the tasks the planners take on. A poster printing company will be happy to help, and can work with most budgets.
This year’s instalment of Bouquets will be on offer on February 27th. Tickets start at $90.24.
