The Oakdale Area Chamber of Commerce ( OACC) provides support and advocacy for the businesses and not for profit groups that call the area it serves home, and it has invited its membership to enjoy a fun-filled day out on the links at a local course.
The OACC Community Golf Fundraiser is on the way for the area, and Oak Marsh Golf Course has been chosen to host the celebration. The fun will begin in the late morning, and this year’s charity of choice is Holiday Helping Hands.
The registration options for the activity include single player tickets, and a sponsorship program is also in place. The play will begin with a shotgun start, and the format will be a four person scramble. The tickets include the golf as well as lunch, access to a happy hour mixer and other perks, and there are passes available for those who can only attend the networking session. Each golf ticket holder will have the use of a cart.
Golf tournament fundraisers may be very successful, and a sponsorship program gives the community an opportunity to get involved. A poster printing company can prepare signage to display at the tees, driving range and in other locations on the course that give tip of the hat to an activity’s sponsors.
