Families in Oakdale may be excited to learn about a local event that will allow the public the chance to get up close and personal with a variety of vehicles.
Vehicle operators will be on site to answer questions, help children explore, and educate on the features of their specific vehicle on display.
It is common for attending organizations at such events to have some fun small items for families to take home with them. Stationery printers can be used in these cases to put company names and logos on items like Notepads or Pens.
Touch a Truck will include street cleaners, snow plows, garbage trucks, different types of emergency vehicles, and many more that children can interact with. The event will also provide free frozen treats for attendees as well a sensory tent where any child can go to regulate if they begin feeling overstimulated.
In addition to the dedicated space, organizers have also stated that there will not be lights and sirens for the duration of the event in order to make the evening friendly for as many attendees as possible.
