Spring will soon be here, and in Oakdale, that means kids will be able to be part of a special activity adding even more fun to the season.
The Oakdale Discovery Center has invited Mr. E. Bunny to stop by and serve as the VIP for a day that will see kids engage in some outdoor fun. While they do, they will be able to learn about the venue’s preserve, and the egg hunt will be joined by an assortment of other activities as well.
Participating kids will be hunting for the eggs hidden throughout the property, and these can each be redeemed for a prize. A pair of “golden eggs” will be in the mix, and those who find these ones will receive a special prize. A petting zoo, face painting, games, photos with the bunny, and a range of refreshments are all in the works for the day as well.
The listing for the festivities explained that financial support for the celebration has been provided by the Eberhard Group with Keller Williams in partnership with Oakdale Recreation. Decor for a special occasion like this can be prepared by an area poster printing company.
The annual Mystery Egg Hunt will bring the fun to Oakdale on Saturday, March 30. It will run from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at 4444 Hadley Avenue North.
