Oakdale photo shoot planned for pocket pets

While dog and cat photos with Santa may be popular, an Oakdale area rescue will be giving smaller pets some time in the spotlight.

Bunnies, chinchillas, guinea pigs, ferrets, and other small furry friends will be offered spots in a holiday-themed photo shoot, and their human companies are welcome to be in the pictures as well. Pet parents may dress up their companion in festive attire if they wish, and there will be volunteers on hand to help.

When they bring their pocket pet for the activity, owners can choose which props to use, and it is recommended they bring along some treats. Afterwards, the pictures will be available for private viewing, and the attendees may also choose to purchase one of the keepsake ornaments on site. Everyone will be able to reserve their own timeslot, and the booking fee for each session is $20.

Offering the public an opportunity to be part of an outside-the-box fundraiser can help a not-for-profit group to reach its fundraising goals. A flyer printing company can craft a variety of marketing materials to help spread the word about an activity for all who are interested.

This photo shoot planned with “pocket pets” in mind will be offered on Sunday, December 3, beginning at 11:00 am. It will take place at 9900 Valley Creek Road in Woodbury.
