It will soon be time for Oakdale kids to return to school, but before they head back to their classes, they, along with their families, may want to check out an area event that has been planned with them in mind.
A celebration to mark the start of a new school year is in the works for Frogtown Park and Farm, and it promises to offer lots of fun for the whole family. There will be plenty to see and do, and to help scholars get their studies off on the right foot, stuffed Backpacks will be distributed .
Guests who arrive at the farm for the event will be treated to freshly cooked barbecue treats, and they can stop by the haircut and braiding station to get a new look for back to school. The parents can discover new healthy ideas for school snacks and lunches, and fresh local produce will be available for purchase so they can try out the recipes at home.
A variety of vendors will be taking part in the afternoon, and the guests will be welcome to stop by their displays. A huge banner can welcome everyone who attends an event like this to the celebration, and a banner printing company can craft one for the occasion.
Frogtown Park and Farm will be welcoming the public for its Back to School Bash on August 8. The gates of the function will remain open from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
