Oakdale event to offer springtime fun

A safe and socially distanced springtime celebration is set for Oakdale, and it will be full of Easter-themed fun.

The Oakdale Discovery Center explained that its annual egg hunt is still set to go ahead as planned, and modifications have been made to help keep everyone safe. Parents or guardians are asked to book a 30-minute timeslot for their child, and it will take place outdoors.

The youngsters will be encouraged to enjoy hunting for the eggs hidden along the preserve's trails, and each can be redeemed for a prize. There will be stations along the way, and parents are reminded to make sure their child is dressed for the weather, and to bring along a basket or other container in which to carry their treasures home.

This activity is intended for kids age 10 and under, and correspondence will be sent out to the families a week ahead of time that will give them more details. A banner printing company can offer a wide selection of items that help to make an activity like this even more fun.

The Mystery Egg Hunt will welcome Oakdale kids starting at 9:00 am on April 3. Tickets are $12 each, and registration to be a part of the activity is now open.
