Veterans, first responders, frontline medical staff, those who work in corrections, and emergency dispatchers will all be benefiting from an event that will soon be held in the Oakdale vicinity.
The Invisible Wounds Project is an area initiative that connects the clients it serves with qualified therapy services, and it will be the recipient of the monies raised during the 3rd annual Blue Jean Ball. Held at 7 Vines Vineyard, it will be a gala-style occasion where formalwear will not be required.
When they arrive, those on the guestlist will be treated to a four-course wine and food tasting, and individual tasting glasses will be issued to each. These pours and bites will be offered at stations, and everyone can choose a full glass of their favorite. A buffet-style dinner, music, and a live auction have been planned, and a program that outlines the work of the function’s charity of choice has also been scheduled.
The live auction will provide the chance to bid on an assortment of donated Corporate Gifts, and there will be other items in the mix as well. Blue jeans, collared shirts, and sundresses will be the dress code for the evening.
This year’s Blue Jean Ball will be showing support for the Invisible Wounds Project on Friday, May 3. Its doors will open at 6:00 pm.
