Oakdale residents are asked to roll up their sleeves for a blood donation drive that has been planned for the community, and the American Red Cross will be organizing the occasion.
The organization will be working with Heartwood Church to host a blood collection drive in April, and it has been noted that each contribution can potentially save as many as three lives. The entire process often takes a very short period of time, and the donors can quickly be up and ready to go about the rest of their day.
Those who plan on attending the donation clinic are reminded to bring along two pieces of ID, including their donor card, if they have one. They will also be asked to provide a medication list and be well hydrated. They are welcome to bring along music or a book, and afterwards, they will receive a light snack and then it will be time to go.
Promoting this type of function can be a big part in ensuring it will be a success. A poster printing company can offer lots of innovative marketing ideas that can be helpful in informing the public about when and where it will be held, and also how they can get involved.
This American Red Cross blood drive has been scheduled for April 10. It will be accepting donations at 6477 10th St. North.
