Candle making is a practice that combines science and art, and it will be introduced to the Oakdale public during an upcoming hands-on activity.
The do-it-yourself candle making class scheduled for The Mustache Cat in South Saint Paul will utilize a variety of vintage containers. These will serve as vessels for the finished pieces, and the venue has partnered with Onyx Candles to host the occasion.
The participants will each be able to make their own candle using the supplies provided. Everyone will be able to choose a custom scent from those provided, and they will also select a container for their project. A discount will be available for anyone who would like to make a purchase on site, and attendees are welcome to bring along some alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks to sip on while they work. Tickets for the class may be reserved now, and they start at $34.
