Graphic Design in Oakdale

Oakdale, Minnesota, is a St. Paul suburb that dates back to 1851. The city is named after a stand of oak trees as suggested by Arthur Stephen at the very first town meeting. In the summer, Oakdale was largely agricultural; in winter, the farmers cut ice from Tanner's Lake and took it to local ice houses, where it was packed in sawdust. The following summer, residents bought the ice to keep their food cold. At Minuteman Press, we're delighted to be part of this community, and to support the economy by offering graphic design in Oakdale.

Graphic design is so widespread it's hard to describe. There is almost nothing in the category of visual information that hasn't been designed, from product Packaging to the layout of magazine pages. The process combines illustration, photography, and text to compose a visual message, often an advertisement, but it's also used by companies in outreach efforts.

When a company uses a graphic designer, that person might be tasked with creating Brochures about a company's products and services; a poster to advertise a performance; or Flyers to be distributed at a trade show. Graphic designers also create brands and logos, and help in designing websites.

At Minuteman Press, we have talented designers available, and can offer graphic design in Oakdale. Please stop and see us, or give us a call, and let us know what we can do to assist with your printing needs.
