Continuing education event offered to Brooklyn Park healthcare professionals

For Brooklyn Park’s first responders and other healthcare providers, an upcoming training opportunity can help them to make sure their skills are sharp.

A continuing education events has been scheduled for the city, and it will be focused on both preparedness and protecting supply chains.

The goal of the Preparedness Practicum will be to give those who work in the healthcare field with a chance to learn as well as share their own expertise with others. There will be both presentations and breakout sessions, and much of the information shared will be actionable and can make an impact right away.

The learners in the event will discover the importance of being ready should there be a major critical incident or disaster, and lessons learned during recent emergencies will be included. They will also find out how they can ensure patients and staff are protected and how they can integrate the knowledge they have gained into their own workplace.

Tickets can now be purchased for this day of learning, and early bird pricing will be offered until the end of December. There are spaces for several hundred attendees, and a printing services provider can supply Copies of handouts and well as any other items that are required for this sort of large educational opportunity.

Brooklyn Center’s Earle Brown Heritage Center has reserved the entire day of February 25 for this preparedness practicum. It is scheduled start time is 8:00 am.
